Frequently Asked Questions
How many days in advance should I book the service?
You should book the service as early as possible when your preferred time slot is more likely to be available. Unlike weekly housekeeping services, the ad hoc sessions are allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Do I have to provide the cleaning supplies?
Yes, you have to provide the cleaning supplies, such as mops, cloths, vacuum cleaner and cleaning chemicals. If you have booked an ad hoc housekeeping session for ironing of clothes, please kindly ensure that you have an iron and ironing board in working condition. You could also purchase a set of the Dew Clean Pack at only $59.90.
How do I make payment?
Upon confirmation, you will receive an e-invoice via your email or mobile phone. Please kindly make payment at least 1 working day before the scheduled session. We accept payment via PayNow, internet bank transfer and cheque.
How many man-hours should I select for my residence?
You might want to consider factors such as the size of your residence, its current condition and the job scope that you would like the housekeeping lady to cover.
Do I have to be present throughout the session?
No. It is up to you whether or not you would like to be present during the session. Nevertheless, it will be helpful for you to be present at the start so that you can inform the housekeeping lady of the specifics.
Does the company provide insurance coverage?
Yes. All our housekeeping ladies are full-time permanent employees of the company and they are well covered by the relevant work insurances in accordance with government regulations.
Does the company provide compensation for damages?
Yes. Upon confirmation that damages are caused by our staff, the company will cover 50% of the damages, up to a maximum of $100. We are also happy to share that such occurrences have been very rare.
